I really like it, although there is no indication of the price. I know they say it is styled after a french chateau but it reminds me more of a georgian mansion in Ireland. I like the layout of the lawns, with the long driveway. I am not very fond of the floors. Hasn’t the decorator ever heard of rugs? I would redecorate the place but I think the bones are great. Am not a fan of the ultra modern pool. Looks out of place. Overall, one of the better houses I have seen from Australia.

It’s just so cold and heartless. Not cozy at all. Fit for royalty, sure, but not for me. Price: If you have to ask, it’s too much. lol

It’s a very austere house, and not in a good way. The exterior is bare bones and very solid looking – too solid IMO. The interior doesn’t really scream “cozy” either. Look at that stair balustrade – gives me chills and I’m thousands of miles away. Yet another Australian home that isn’t quite right in more ways than one.

I’m going to sound really crabby here, but oh well.

First, the photo gallery on the home’s own website is pathetic. The photos are TINY. The listing has the same pics, and they’re sized correctly. They need to fix that.

Second, this home is so cold and sterile it barely feels like a place you could live. Is it against the law in Australia to have an interior with some personality? This is not a problem specific to this home, I don’t feel ANYTHING when looking at the interiors of most of the Australian homes featured on this site.

And finally, this place is not designed, laid out or set up to ever be a full-time private home. That absurd reception area and massive rooms make sure of that. And the second floor? That is a 4-unit luxury hotel, nothing more or less. There is nothing appealing about this home to me.

“That is a 4-unit luxury hotel”

Exactly. Not to mention the phrase in some room in the attic; NO ACCESS, staff only.

      In a house, LOL

I effin LOVE this house. I want it for my boyfriend. Its got male written all over it. It probably even SMELLS like a Vercace cologne. Come on boys…you know you love this place. Its like a castle. Tough skinned. Taunt. Hard. Erect. Made to last and last and last.

Yea…it could use a couple of bear skin rugs here and there, and some antlers on the walls, but thats simple stuff.

Oh. Wait. I looked at the floor plans. It was definitely designed by some crazy ass bastard who has no sense of where to put a dining room. Why he put it so damn far from the kitchen is anybody’s guess. Maybe he wanted to piss off the help. All I know is that the room will abso freakinlutely never get used over there.

Then he has this thing about offices. The damn thing is HUGE! What. The. Fuck.

Upstairs bedrooms look like motel 6 rooms. All the same.

Whats with the driveway? No turn around at all. You have to back up from the garage until you get to the T, where you can turn. STOOPID.

What is that rhomboid shaped gravel area between the house and the water? What is that used for? Is it some kind of game field?

This place reminds me of a pair of high heels I once bought. They looked SOOOO good in the store, and I knew they made me look sexy as hell, but damn…they hurt like a mo fo, and I never wore them out.

Lol. I laughed. I love your comments. 🙂

Yeah… this might be perfect for a pimp or a male pornstar (especially with your description). Throw in a couple stripper poles and whammo! Perfection. lol But even Hugh Hefner would think this place is ininviting, cold, and downright weird.
