Ha! $6 million would get you a waterfront home in Royal Palm! I have no idea how some people can pay (or ask) this much for a home in Parkland…a good 20 minute drive from the beach. Perhaps the mosquitoes appeal to some people.

The home is what I would expect. An overgrown, overdone tract home in a community of overgrown and overdone tract homes. Only room I like is the living room. Good luck [never] getting the asking price.

It definitely thinks it’s more than it is. To expand on Daniel’s comment about the beach, for $6 million I want something that doesn’t have a view of a bog.

Ha. Listen, some people desire acreage, and I get that. But why PARKLAND?!? Boca has numerous communities offering 1+ acre lots, and those do command prices this high. But not Parkland.

If this were a touch more gaudy it would look like a new build in Dubai. There is just too much wrong about this. The office building-quality windows, the ugly floors & tacky columns, the view of the swamp, the location, you name it.

And I think I have another item to add to my list of real estate listing pet peeves, along the same lines as arranging expensive cars in the driveway….and that would be a picture in the photo gallery depicting the virtual tour for the home pulled up on the screen in the home theater. Just stop it. It’s not impressive, it’s not cute, it’s not clever.
