The inevitable has happened. New Jersey’s most expensive estate, The Stone Mansion, has lowered its asking price by $16 million to $52 million. Listed back in June of 2010 for a whopping $68 million, this lavish gated 30,000 square foot mega mansion boats 12 bedrooms, 14 full and 5 half bathrooms, 3 kitchens, 4 bars, a home theater, wine cellar, indoor basketball court, swimming pool, tennis court and so much more. It is located at 1 Frick Drive in Alpine, NJ, one of the nation’s most affluent towns.

Well, it’s a start. Something tells me they will be doing another significant drop before any offer is accepted. I see this going for about half the current asking price.
I say the price will drop to 35-30 Mill before it sells!
Not a big surprise. It’s a nice house, but it’s not THAT special.
There’s another equally impressive mansion located across the street from this one. Has anybody else checked it out on google maps?
I did now.
Looks nice, from what I can see in Bing Maps/Google Maps the garage part (at least I think it is) looks nice.
looks like there are some dead trees out front
It is a beautiful home at half the price.
When they drop the price another $51 million I’ll make an offer on it. Wonder how long I’ll have to wait?
