Well, the exterior is really beautiful, especially the rear. Those palm trees coupled with that view really is my idea of perfect. Interior is disappointing, mainly because it looks so dated. Those living room windows irk me for some reason. Price is high considering other homes available in the community, which is really beautiful.

Agree with Dan, this is overpriced. Even for Coral Gables.

I agree that the interior is dated. There is way too much stenciling going on, but it’s very uninteresting with those removed. The HDR pics don’t help the case. I hate the Palladian-style window in the dining room, from the both the interior and exterior. The rear of the house, minus the dining room windows, is nice, and the large palms around the pool are great.

Looking at it, I’m pretty sure that dining room with the Palladian window is the living room. Why else would it be in the center of the house and two-stories tall. Odd indeed.

I think you’re right. It didn’t seem to fit having such a monumental, and centrally placed, window for the dining room, especially considering there’s another dining room. I guess this is the “banquet hall”? Still, I don’t like it.

The facade is pretty decent, and the rear area between house and water is spectacular, as is the view. The interior is too cheesy for me, although I do like some of the entertaining spaces (billiard room, TV room)

I think it is fantastic! Way cool! If its too high priced, then make an offer for what you think it is worth. The owner probably didn’t get to where they were by being unreasonable….
