Very sweet looking crib…the pic of the back looks like a hotel but not necessarily in a bad way…

    A few thoughts…

    1. I like the house itself
    2. The interior is completely unimaginative. All the furnishings need to be scrapped and replaced.
    3. It doesn’t belong in NJ. This would look so much better in a heavily wooded mountain setting, say Aspen, Vail, or Jackson Hole (as Kenny pointed out).
    4. Are the owners afraid of plants? A little landscaping up against the house would make it look like it’s in the landscape as opposed to on it.

Move it west and redecorate it, and I would like it.

Explain to me why you would need 125 acres if it isn’t equestrian land or doesn’t have grapes growing on it. Subdivide! The interior is too wooden for my tastes.

I agree with you there, if you don’t have horses or a vineyard, 10% of the land will accomplish most of the privacy you get with 125 acres.

If ever there was a representation of “right house, wrong location” this is it. As has already been said, this isn’t right for central Jersey. Plop the home down on a mountainside with spectacular views of snow-capped peaks and you have my attention. Like Grrrowler, I do like the house itself. My complaints on the interior center around paint and wallpaper choices. I like how much woodwork there is, and several of the stone fireplaces are really spectacular. Even the exterior is appealing to me, if slightly reminiscent of a lodge-style hotel. The only glaring offense to me is the master bathroom, which looks cheaper than the rest of the home. Price seems reasonable for how much land you get (but see Daniel’s comment above), but I don’t know much about this area.

Not sure but I believe this used to be the property built and previously owned by former NBA player Jason Williams. I believe he sold the place a few years ago but this would be where he killed the limo driver.

Nope, this is not the property. His former home is located in Alexandria Township.
