There is nothing special about this house to warrant the asking price. This house which is half the price is twice as good:

The house does have good bones though, if all the furniture was gone and it was repainted and such, it could be a nice home although still overpriced

They’ll be lucky to get a fourth of the asking price seriously. The economy in the the state of Georgia real estate wise is rough right now.

    Four laundry rooms? What the…

This house feels very contrived, as if its a stage. Its almost garish.

No, I take that back. It IS garish.

I actually like this house a lot, especially the exterior. Looks very classical and authentic. The interior is too bold as-is, but considering it was built in 1994, I can’t fault it as much.

Is this really considered Buckhead? If it is, I think the price seems fair given the other homes available.

definitely Buckhead. The house across the street is owned by the man that pretty much founded the area and made it was it is. He even has two buck statues in his front yard.

I like the rustic charm of the exterior but other than that it looks a bit over the top and cheap. The layout looks a bit confusing and the rooms are obviously bit, but the colour choices make them appear smaller. 4/10

I like the exterior. It’s a nice classic design. The interior is a hot mess and needs to be stripped out completely. It seems to have delusions of grandeur, and needs to be toned WAY down.

On the outside, it looks like a nice house. Get inside and the rooms are dreadful … just about every thing makes my stomache churn. I could definitely NOT see myself living here. On the other hand…this agent has a couple of other homes posted that are far more attractive!

I didn’t expect it, but I love the exterior. Very grand and imposing. Inside is waaaaay over the top, it badly needs to be redone in a more understated and elegant way…right now it’s just cheesy. I was a little surprised at the people who said the price is too high, my first reaction was actually that it is unusually reasonable for the location.
Given the landscaping and that poolhouse, the pool is TINY!

It has been one of my favorite homes in my area since I moved there. I continue to see homes go up for sale here but no bites. Remember, it’s alot less than some homes in the northside/tuxedo park area that are for sale. It was listed a couple of years ago too. Looks like they remodeled it on the inside..

This house is stunning,I do agree that the inside could be toned down. I think it needs a little more thought on interior colors and the furnishings needed to be a little more italian and if one has ever been to italy this house is more authenic on the outside and most would think the inside decor on most of the great villas in italy would come across as garish but one could remedy this with good interior design and let the architecure do all the talking. definately would take the palm beach palm trees from the entry and put them in the back and design a clipped boxwood design along the drive and would maybe be as nice as the rhodes house on west paces ferry/tuxedo which is more italian.

I LOVE the exterior, it’s beautiful & no change is needed, but that interior is UGLY as fuck, They need to gut it and repaint and new furniture.
