Pretty nice and it has every amenity that you could possibly need in a city like Chicago.

    I love the kitchen.

Love the sports facilities. The price does seem great.

Strange there are no windows with a s street view. Maybe its a bad area.

Many of the rooms have all the charm and character of the inside of a Clorox bottle. If I’ve said it once I’ve said it a thousand times: good contemporary design needs to be exquisitely detailed. This place is not a good contemporary. i can’t find a single room I like. A little more art work would definitely help, and I don’t mean more of those ridiculously undersized pictures/paintings in pic 3. The antique doors in pic 4 are nice, but it looks like the movers just left them there, propped against the wall. Pic 5 looks like a solitary confinement cell for a hipster. Some BIG colorful art to decorate the walls would help this place, but not save it.

Agreed totally, Grrrowler. Really though, it doesn’t matter HOW much or HOW beautifully this place might be redecorated…….the LACK OF ANY KIND of VIEW of anything worthwhile KILLS this place completely. Those GUN SLIT windows in EVERY room are mind-bogglingly awful.

Well I’m in total agreement with others’ assessments of this place. The very narrow, high windows in many of the rooms is a total turn-off, and the whole place is very cold and detached. I really didn’t feel like this place would be at all comfortable to live in (even with the help of a lot of artwork, as Grrrowler said) or even visit. A wider shot of the exterior of this place would’ve been nice too, I think that’s a criminal oversight by the listing agent. I also don’t like this place’s proximity to the tracks either. Yuck.

That’s a very cool concept, the basketball court on the roof.
I also (mostly) like the interior of the house, and it’s got a good price. But the location is pretty bad, right next to a railroad track

Well i despise anything next to a railroad track, ESPECIALLY if it costs anything over 1MM. i love the front door, and some of the interior is okay but its definitely a bachelor pad, and no good views, rooftop basketball court is a neat concept but id rather have an awesome rooftop patio with a view.
