I guess whoever lives here is going to have a car and driver at their beck and call. Otherwise, what idiot would build a house in the northeast that has a garage 75 feet away from the main house? Big mistake. Weather much?

And there is additional weirdness going on here. That’s no 15 car garage. Maybe 5 at the most. The master closet is completely fucacked.

    No koi pond either.

Ok. Double weird. I looked at the listing on realtor.com, and it has a picture of a garage that’s just not the same one shown in the images here. Stuffed with exotic cars, it looks much much deeper than either the floor plans here, and the aerial images. Note the garage in the first image with the garage in the second (and the last one as well). I smell something fishy, and it ain’t a koi pond.

The mirror over the back wall that makes the garage look bigger.

This house has that nice “mafioso chic” vibe going on. I love the five black cars in front of the house on the listing page – always nice to see what the owner spends the money on in the house (sure as sh!t ain’t interior design). Too bad they aren’t included with the house. And to top it off we have the nice-sounding-but-never-in-a-million-years-will-it-be-worth $15 million price tag.

Remind me to never move to Long Island. Minus the Hamptons, it looks like a place where neighbors fight about who has the better lawnmower.

I know zillow isn’t always right, BUT they estimate the value to be $4,217,300 the size on two floors to be 9587 sq ft, and the lot to be 5.37 acres. Also if you look carefully look at the floorplans there is no basement under the family room. I bet it is on a slab which could explin why the garage is where it is. The original garage is now the family room. 15 mil , are they out of their minds.

Wait…so this is a remodeling job? That would explain a lot…

With a few SERIOUS modifications this house would be perfect.

Is “blowing up with a lot of dynamite” by any chance included in the list of possible “modifications”? If yes, then I agree.

    10 car garage max.
Nice idea, but the thought of not having a connected garage especially at $15 million is ridiculous.
That is one hell of a car collection though.

no no no no no no NO

Everything about the exterior, interior, and floor plan are UTTERLY derivative and uninspiring. The facade is hideous. The landscaping is okay-ish, but seems overly contrived. The decor is off-the-shelf Home Depot at best. The layout of this place is just plain boring and unimaginative. That big carriage house is way too far from the main house, and the huge driveway, while good for parking lots of cars for parties on, is ugly as hell.

And does the 2 million dollars-worth of cars parked in front of the home come with the sale? No? Then get them the fuck out of the picture. As if we needed further proof that 95% of Long Island millionaires are self-obsessed jackasses who get turned on when they check the contents of their own bank account. My day was ruined long before now, but this is the cherry on top. Absolutely tasteless.

      P.S.

This home is an insult to either of the terms “Georgian” or “Colonial”. This is mass-produced McMansion at its worst.
