Love the yacht stairs…
If you’re talking about Cakewalk, the interior was designed by Liz Dalton, a designer from your neck of the woods.
I actually saw Cakewalk a few weeks ago when it was docked at the port (I was at the Ft lauderdale convention center for the auto show). It is absolutely gigantic. Love the interior, though the profile of the yacht is a little too upright for me…reminds me of a mountain shape.
The exterior has been done before, and too many times. I’m getting bored with Tim Heywood’s repeated profile on his designs. It was (and still is) stunning on Carinthia VII but it’s getting old. Cakewalk’s profile is a little too chunky for my liking, and you’re right that it’s too “vertical”. But, I love the interior, even though it’s not my style. For anyone who’s interested, there are dozens more pics on the yacht’s website: http://www.my-cakewalk.com
mmmm. If those stairs were a delicious pie, I would NOM NOM NOM and then go back for seconds.
and then thirds.
Impressive.
also,
I have tremendous respect for those who can craft beautiful interiors in things like yachts and motor homes and the like. It’s one thing to build a quality interior in a home, but to achieve a good-looking and quality-built interior in something with such tight dimensions and restricted spaces is an achievement all its own.
Amazing portfolio for this company!!
Well you would say that, since you work for it……… HAHA
I had to chime in
