Way too industrial for me. I do like the wood used in the bathroom however. Anyone know what species it is? I’m gonna guess Palisander. Also can’t believe they didn’t show a picture of the two-story waterfall :/

I am a fan of the modern style, but this seems a little cold.

And is is a bit too industrial. Particularly the exterior doors and windows.

As is, it’s BEAUTIFUL…..but it could be LUST WORTHY with a WHOLE LOT of the right kind of interior decoration/refurbishment to warm it up, which it needs BIG time. Agree with Daniel….too commercial/industrial now, especially the front….it looks entirely too “fatalistic” or “Soylent Green” in its present state. Once the place was complete & correctly done with some warm jewel toned accent walls, textured, natural & pop-art-inspired wall papers, plush, colorful area rugs, sensual & evocative art & photography, glamorous & task-correct lighting, and a LOT of good plants, it’d be a masterpiece. The light, space, VIEWS, windows and kitchen & baths are OUTTA’ SIGHT as is, though. All of you guys, my fellow-contributors would DROOL over this place when I got done with it (in my fantasy life 🙁

Agreed, it’s too industrial. It COULD be a great house though, with the hand of a skilled decorator making it a home instead of an office building. It does have what I always say contemporary architecture should have: interior details. I don’t care for it too much the way it currently looks, but there are possibilities here.
