Seems like a VERY nice niehgborhood, but I was a little shocked to see the Birds-Eye view…looks like they put these giant homes in the middle of a field of green lollipops. Almost *too* perfect.

I think the house has some good bones, but the furnishings are already dated. Nothing too major though. I like the exterior a lot, as it reminds me of a lot of homes here in Boca Raton. I’m sure in person it is very nice.

I like it. I almost feel sorry for the person who is selling it as they are standing to loose several million dollars. But then I don’t feel pity knowing they could afford a $14 million house in the first place 😀

The house is definitely a little dated inside, but with some redecorating it could be very nice. The scale and sizes of the rooms looks decent, at least in the pics we get to see.

My problem with the house is its location. It’s not my favorite area of RSF. The neighborhood is really just several jumbo-sized houses built in an orange orchard, which admittedly is what a lot of RSF is. I would much rather be in the Covenant itself, or west of the village near Rancho San Diegueno where you can still find some of the original eucalyptus trees. There are numerous hilltop lots in the area that have ocean views and get ocean breezes and can be several degrees cooler in the summer. There are even some nice ocean-view spots in RSF Farms, and some beautiful houses. If I had to live east of the village it would be in Fairbanks Ranch. One of my favorite houses in the Ranch is the 20-something-thousand square foot centerpiece to a small gated community called Rancho La Cima.

I love getting these viewpoints from people who live in (or are familiar with) the areas these listings are in, especially in areas I’ve never been to, keep it up!
