I really like the exterior. Interior needs help IMO. Granted it was built in 1986, a time where you could get away with almost anything. Ceilings look low, though I do like the detailing used in the dining and living rooms. I’d re-do the entire kitchen. View is very nice.

Have we met? Did I slap your momma across the face at one point or another? I don’t really know why you care so much about my opinion, but it’s flattering.

So what do you expect? Would you like me to compliment everything about every house on this site? I agree it is a wonderful blog, and it is sad that you have to be the lone idiot on here bashing other people’s OPINIONS. But it’s okay. I have yet to read a single entry from you that discusses a home’s architecture, design, price, location, saleability, etc. I look forward to your “anti-hater” comments in the future.

Do you know what “IMO” means? It means “In My Opinion”. This is a blog, and when there’s a text box that’s labeled “Leave a Reply” it’s a place for you to share your opinion. Daniel’s opinion was probably one of the least inflammatory statements on here, it was a simple couple sentences explaining what he likes and dislikes about this home. There’s nothing wrong with it. The problem here is you. What about Daniel’s rational opinion makes you so angry? Surely there are things you like about this house, and some things you may not like. Rather than attacking commenters like you have done so far, share opinions that are topically relevant to this post.

And before you repeat your baseless accusation that I am a minion of Daniel’s, I happen to find the kitchen in this home very appealing, even if it’s clear that it dates to 1986 when the home was built. I don’t share a massive amount of Daniel’s design taste, I merely feel strongly that he should have as much right as any other person on this site to express his opinion.

All of this makes me wonder what somebody did to you to make you lash out in a way that is not only unfair, but completely irrational. I ask you again, share your opinions in a fair, polite and constructive way, or just don’t say anything. As a HOTR community, we enjoy our opportunity to comment on homes and share our viewpoints, but your bickering makes that very difficult, and I’m pretty sure I speak for everyone when I say that I’m just tired of it.

This is getting ridiculous. I feel like the blog has moved under a bridge recently (that’s probably too obscure a reference). This used to a nice place to visit, where we could freely express our opinions about houses we don’t live in.

Always always always remember Internet Rule #14 and stick to it.

            Thankfully rule #20 applies.

I also want to know which bridge. Palm Beach or *West* Palm Beach? If it’s West Palm then it probably needs to be re-done, whereas Palm Beach is stunning in every respect.

      Dear Daniel,

Would you please refrain from expressing your opinion? Someone here doesn’t like it. I mean them. All of them. Like all 972 of them. He particularly didn’t like # 364 where you criticized the color of the kitchen, without even seeing a picture of said kitchen. He didn’t like that. He also didn’t like #127 where you made all sorts of spelling mistakes, like porta coochie for porta-cochere. That was unforgivable. You should know better than that.

Thanks for your cooperation in advance.

That kitchen was a crappy color and should have been torched, bulldozed, spat on blown up into smithereens! Also, the owner, decorator, builder…hell the entire neighborhood should have been firebombed and then flooded!

See…thats the thing. You’re just so…soo over the top! How about toning it down a bit? Firebombed? The entire neighborhood? Isn’t that just a little much?

I think we should all go back over every one of Daniel’s 974 posts and point out what we dislike in each and every one of them, IN ALL CAPS, OF COURSE.

Then there was that impostor Daniel…or was it actually an impostor? The plot thickens…

Oh God no…not a thickening plot…the last thing I want is for this site to turn into a David Lynch movie.

OH GOD I DON’T KNOW WHAT’S REAL ANYMORE!!!!

Agree, it is great outside. Needs some work inside, particularly the pool.

It’s a beautiful house. I don’t love the garages in the front, but at least they’re in a perpendicular wing. Other than wishing the garages could be reoriented, I love the exterior. The interior is nice as is, but would benefit from some added sophistication. The bones are excellent, it’s just that the furnishings need some sprucing up. I’d take it in a heartbeat, and the price seems reasonable (relative to Greenwich).

Listen, Dan uses colorfull imagery, we know and accept that. It’s just his way…he’s not a bit spitefull. NOVA Ben is absolutely correct in his post when he says “we”are tired of people like J W dropping-by to ATTACK us!
For heaven-sake where is this taking us? Then Mak… you’re usually “nice” but why criticize Daniel’s spelling, when you misspelled the word misspelled yesterday, in relation to Grrrowler’s name? Settle down, boys and girls, please! [CHILL].
