Hmm. I don’t think I would have included pictures with the home in its current state. Judging from the pictures, it looks like you’d need at least another million to finish this place, not including the furnishings. I don’t know…I’m indifferent.

I quite like the unfinished exterior. It makes it look rustic!

Wasn’t this the house that that one chick on here was trying to pass off as her house complete with a blog that only had photos of the outside of the home?

While I would never build this type of house for myself, I truly love the exterior and the lot. To be sure, whomever decided to take those pics ON THAT SPECIFIC DAY should be slapped, HARD. They’re downright awful and useless…….looking at them is exactly like a hundred nails on a hundred chalkboards to me. However, the completely authentic & historically accurate french country design looks really lifted right out of a farm or vineyard from the south of France from 100 years ago…..beautiful! I really dread to estimate how many king’s ransoms it’d take to finish the place, though.

This is like the opposite of the Mona Lisa: Up close, the details are well executed and tasteful; from afar, the home looks one-dimensional and uninteresting.

I feel like a person who has the money to finish a project like this would just as soon build a home of their exact taste and layout from scratch, rather than start with a half-finished one that doesn’t necessarily fit their dream 100%. As far as me personally, I’m not overly enthusiastic about this one. Better pics would be a start.
