Not so fond of this one. The exterior is alright but could be better, and although the house has nice luxury touches, I hate the colour scheme and the kitchen looks bad (in my opinion!).

Hate it. The exterior looks like it started off as a 1950s modern and they remodeled it to look Mediterranean. The nearly flat roof makes it look like a giant storage unit. The interior looks reminds me of a Las Vegas hotel lobby. The kitchen is horrifyingly ugly. The house is a joke in my opinion. Only thing I would take is the fountain in the front yard and the two chandeliers in photo 8.

BUT THE REAL KICKER has to be the last line of the listing: “If Located In Beverly Park,This Magnificent Property w/2.5 Acres all usable, would be priced over $20,000,000.” Really? First of all, it wouldn’t be $20 million. The home would be considered a tear down in that community and even if it was on the best lot, it wouldn’t go for more than $15 million. Secondly, why would you downplay the community this house is in? Isn’t someone going to interpret that as this being a crappy community (which it certainly isn’t)? Honestly, let’s just go bonkers and say *if* the house was in Palm Beach on the ocean it would be $50 million. Heck, if it was located on the moon it would be a trillion dollars!!! Why say something so foolish?

      Dude, 1 more comment and you’ll reach 900!! DAMN… That’s awesome.

If it was a race to 1,000, you don’t even really have competitors.

Ha! Well, OCD really takes a toll on me sometimes. Couple that with my verbosity and you have a concoction equaling my record-beating comment number. I sincerely hope I will be dethroned one day though!

It looks to me that the house should have been rotated 90 degrees and have the back facing east overlooking the valley rather than facing north out towards a 4 lane highway with another housing development across the road.
Is flat roof seems to be consistent with the houses around it but I don’t really care for it. It looks more like a scottsdale type desert house.
The flooring inside is gorgeous and I like the wine cellar

Daniel is right. The house two lots to the left sold for 4 million, it had a much more modern look on the inside. Its 8000 sqft and they paid 4 million for it. So they will be lucky to get half of that.

I don’t care for this home. I think it’s ugly, and too “blingy”. As for the neighborhood, I think it’s a nice location, and the other homes don’t seem so bad. Plus, Lamar Odom and his wife Khloe Kardashian live on this street at 19011 Ashurst Ln, Tarzana, CA.

Most of my opinion on this one lines up perfectly with Daniel’s. I don’t hate the exterior quite as much (although it is pretty bad) but the comment about the Las Vegas hotel lobby foyer is spot-on…and taste notwithstanding, the size of that foyer suggests a home twice the size of the quoted 11,000 square feet. The kitchen is atrocious (and I’m pretty sure it was still atrocious even back in 1996) and floor plan is just plain uncreative. The sheer size of that area in photo 8 is ludicrous and unimaginative. It looks like it comprises living room, dining and ballroom all in one. I’m not saying you have to compartmentalize the home so that it’s like a series of boxes, but damn, break it up somehow!

ok….looking for something nice to say….the pool is neat I guess. NO THANKS on this one. Oh, and 2.35 acres and it’s STILL piled on top of the house next door? bing doesn’t give too good an idea of topography, and it probably would have involved unfeasible amounts of land grading, but I feel like the home should have been situated a little further from the cul-de-sac and rotated so it’s at more of an angle relative to Reseda Blvd.

This is one of the ugliest piles of crap I’ve seen in a long time. It’s tacky, it’s overdecorated, and it needs to just go away!

I don’t mind it, but it is probably because I am in love with the barrel vaulted ceiling.
I could spend all day looking at that.
