The home has some nice details, but overall it’s a little funky. The exterior facade looks off; maybe it’s the random window placements? Inside is nicely done for the most part, but some rooms look underwhelming. The rear is probably my favorite part.

interesting that you liked the interior more than the exterior! ^ i thought the exterior was very well executed other than a few very long roof overhangs. the interior is restrained and elegant, but also exceedingly boring and expected. I wish the wealthy had more vision than to go with “boring”. floor-plans are available on the website.

I love this one. The exterior is very nice (look at the website, I love the architecture), the yard is great (just look at picture #10), and offcourse I like the back (waterfront :P). The interior is good, some furniture can go but I can live with it.

I can move in right away, I just need to find something to make the boatdock usefull.

Overall I think this home is beautiful. Those hardwoods, the front door, the brick driveway, the wood beam ceilings, the courtyard landscaping…

My only gripes are that the dining room and sunroom-like area are a little uninspired. I also would have placed the home a tiny bit closer to the road so that the rear of the home isn’t RIGHT on the water, but really that’s a minor complaint. Overall very nice…not familiar enough with Austin to know if that price is out of line or not, but I have a feeling it’s a touch high.

Also, zoom out in bing maps and check out the contemporary house that has a driveway entrance at the corner of Cassava Dr. and Cuesta Verde! I’d kill to see that thing in person! Is that a private residence?

Guess it’d be nice if I clarified…it’s almost directly southwest of the home in this post.

I like much of it. I think the exterior is attractive, and a lot of the interior looks nice. Looking at the layout, I like the privacy of the master suite, but the bedroom is not very attractive looking at the pic. There are some other pretty uninteresting-looking rooms as well, but overall it seems like a nice house.

Well I think this home is pretty good, you’d think someone would have made the bed in the master bedroom, but still the price seems a bit “steep”to me, nice being by the lake, but still it’s okay over-all, I suppose.

Nice house and a nice location, but it does seem to be priced on the high side. For not much more, there are much bigger houses available on the same lake shore. Will be interesting to watch what it finally sells for.
