Home #1 – Pictures #1,2,3 – This huge mansion is under construction on Via Vista in Coto de Caza, CA.

Home #2 – Pictures #4,5,6 – If you don’t already know, this huge mansion belongs to power couple Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen. The $20 million, 22,000 square foot mega mansion is located in Brentwood, CA. It will boast a lagoon-shaped pool, wine cellar, parking for six cars, weight room and a covered bridge connecting two buildings.

Home #3 – Picture #7 – This MASSIVE mansion is located on Nimes Road in Los Angeles, CA. It is situated right next to Mohamed Hadid’s former 48,000 square foot estate that sold for big bucks last year. You can see that this home looks just as big if not bigger; WOW!!

Home #4 – Picture #8 – This huge mansion is located at the intersection of Bellagio and Stone Canyon Road in Los Angeles, CA. The home at the upper right hand side in the picture is around 40,000 square feet, so this home looks to be at least 25,000 square feet.

Is house #1 a hotel or a private house? The style is definitely looking more hotel.

House #3 is practically right on top of the former Hadid house and the pool house of the property immediately to the north. I guess I’m old-fashioned but to me it’s much more desirable to have a smaller (relatively speaking) house on a large property, not some mall-sized thing shoe-horned onto a lot that’s too small. There doesn’t even appear to be any level lawn. That’s utterly ridiculous.

Of all of these houses, my favorite is the house used as a reference point in picture #8. It’s a lovely house, on a large lot with beautiful grounds.

Couldn’t agree more. If I was spending that kind of money, I would not want to be that close to my neighbors.

the house in #8 that is crescent shaped is a beautifully designed Wallace Neff design that used to be owned by Rod Stewart before he moved of to Beverly Park. it was recently re-worked by architect Mark Appleton and was featured in Architectural Digest recently. the house in the upper right corner of the same pic is a Robert AM Stern that has been featured in his latest monograph. both are works of art and hopefully the newer one will meet the standard of it’s neighbors.

House #1 in Coto has lots of people talking. Word is it belongs to some really rich Russians and will be the largest home in the OC.
Backs right up to the trail and looks massive from the street. Sits on a hill up behind another house.

Also, in 4,5,6 the mansion in the lower left is Heidi klum and seals new house they bought as a short sale from the cheesecake factory CEO.

I think Brady signed a new contract for $18 million/year. Add in endorsements and he probably makes at least $25 million/year. I think Gisele makes around $35 million/year. That definitely is a power couple. Not Beyonce and Jay-Z, but not far behind.

Btw, I am learning about homes and architecture from this site. Could anyone please tell me what style of architecture their home is?

Their home is GENUINE “Materialism-and-Greed-and-Ego-run-AMOK-esque-to-UTTER-nauseating-Wretchedness-BARF” style, Dave 🙂

I just want to see the trophy and awards room that you know Tom and Gisele are going to have.

    Their home looks promising.

The third home looks strange. I agree when people say they don’t like a huge home on small spaces. Plus, it looks like its going to overpower the home below it.

Yupp, Grrrowler said it first a “hotel” is not a nice HOME. A smaller house on a large lot is my idea of heaven 🙂

the crescent-shaped house in picture #8 has got to be more valuable than the 2 giant houses next to it. it was owned by many famous celebrities such as howard hughes and prince rainier. i didn’t see the recent architectural digest spread but maybe 10 years ago they did one too and i wished they hadn’t changed the facade. pic # 7 is only 2 doors away from elizabeth taylor’s tiny house. i wonder what will happen to that house now that she’s passed away.

B-I-N-G-O, Oliver………you could NOT be more correct! They’re utterly USELESS size makes them hideous, just due to the fact that they’re a categorical waste…..NEVER to be legitimately & realistically used on any kind of even semi-regular basis.

Just got Robb Report and the nimes road house is amazing. Richard Landry designed it and it says that it is 40,000 square feet…

I just got it also, and yea it’s an incredible place. My only gripe with the house itself is the number of bedrooms. 28 it just way to much.

I know, the owner must have a huge family. I wish the publication showed more pictures. If you look at the first picture of the home on the first page of the spread ( The back of the home at night time), it looks like a hotel, but still an amazing home.

There are a few more photos if you haven’t seen them already. Another thing I wanna know is how big the pool is. It’s hard to a feel for it’s size, I’m guessing 50 x 25 but who knows.

This estate is very bad !
For Nimes Road in Bel Air, it’s classic and not this ugly modern home.
Look like office. Just see the 5th picture on DavidPhoenix.com, it’s a building entrance in Century City ? …

Oh and the land, so small that there is no garden, no tennis court, and the pool designed for baby.

I like the Brady house the most. The Nimes Road estate has more open lot space than it appeared during construction and the interior decorating, although sometimes dark, is nice. Their is a large French estate going up in Pic 8. Google images for christophe choo french mansion.
