This French inspired home is located at 2101 Adel Drive in Loganville, GA. It boasts a large, spacious floor plan with double bridal staircase, 7 bedrooms, 8.5 bathrooms, huge 2-story great room, gourmet kitchen with butler’s pantry, formal living and dining rooms, home office and much more. It is listed at just $1,399,000. I have to say, I HATE the exterior, but the interior is quite nice (minus the sky mural in the foyer). You do get A LOT of home for the money as well as quality finishings!

Exterior is ferociously ugly. Interior is sub-par, although for the asking price I don’t think you could replicate it in a lot of places.

Oh my. This is not good. The roof looks like someone forgot to take the cap off the house. It was a very poorly executed attempt at a mansard roof.

The interior doesn’t even have potential. Only restored historic homes should have sky murals on the ceilings. The ceiling in picture 3 resembles a microscope photo of a cell culture. The rectangles inset into the floor in the kitchen and library remind me of Les Nessman’s tape “walls” around his office on WKRP (for all us old people who remember that show). In this house they make no sense and look very silly. I particularly hate the dining room, or what I think is the dining room. There are too many colors, too many shapes, and all of them are terrible. I think anyone eating in that room would be nauseous.

On a scale of 1-10, I give it a negative 2. I simply despise it!

BTW Kenny, your link to the listing doesn’t work.

I like the interior. The exterior looks like a second rate apartment building. The wrought iron house around the property looks terrible. The price is unbeatable unless Logan is a terrible area. Anyone know?

Other than the ugly yellow colored walls, I kind of like the interior. I think it was good that they took pictures of it when it was empty. The only thing I don’t get is why they have those dog-biscuit shaped spots on the wall. I mean, what is that for?

As for the exterior, I don’t think it’s ugly, I just think it’s really plain. It has no character at all.

They need to tone the hell down with the two-story rooms EVERYWHERE. Ugly exterior, overblown interior and layout. gross gross gross.

WKRP in Cincinnati! Classic show. Having said that, the French Provincial exterior is awesome in white brick and in stone with well manicured flat grounds, But not that way. But also, there is a lot of wasted space.
