Although the less than perfect lot size and close proximity to neighbors is rather distasteful, the outstanding stately residence at 6326 Carrington Drive is worth taking a look at. The home is located within the gates of the Oaks of Williamsburg addition, a very exclusive community with 8 other homes situated off Preston Road. The palatial entrance features a 2 car garage on the east side and a 1 car garage on the west. Key features of the home include 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, and 7,200 sq. feet of living space. Other amenities include a 0.67 lot size, media room, library, office, mud room, over sized living rooms, arched walkways, game room, outdoor lounge, multi-level landscaped pool and backyard area, and more. The home is listed for $2,095,000.

Ya know, this really isn’t as bad as some of the recent horror houses from Texas. I would go as far as saying I like the front facade and even some of the room features. Overall though, it is very plain, and the homes are VERY close to each other. The home is also on an interior lot with no view.

For the price, it is a decent home.

It’s a nice, upper middle class suburban home. I quite like it. I generally hate it when the front and back facades use different stone, but this one pulls it off quite nicely

Why are more & more homes using a library concept with dark woods and then they DON’T HAVE MANY or ANY BOOKSHELVES? I hate that part. I personally don’t care for this home, but I like the builders a lot. The price is certainly good!

Decent home, decent price, decent neighborhood. Just a good solid upper middle class home. Actuallly, it is kind of a relief to see this home after some of the overblown, tacky monstrosities .

It has good things and not so good things:
    Good:
    – Front looks (really) good, nice.
    – The interior in general looks fine to.
    – I love the office.

    Not so good:
    – The theater is to narrow.
    – The bathroom and walk in closet. Bad wallpaper and that closet is scary; plain white and fluorescent lighting. Brrr…
    – The back of the house is really bad. First it’s a different kind of stone, the shape is not good and it’s completely dominated by the roof.
    – The location isn’t that good either.

A little TLC from an interior decorator and you have a winner here.

Front facade is extremely beautiful and rather humble. i love the interior. very homey. not a thing i would change minus the theatre, and that bathroom wallpaper. other than that its a really beautiful home. The rear is rather bland though. needs a dormer, some skylights something. needs to have the same stone as the front too. Lot really takes away from it though.
