I like this house. I really like the kitchen with the huge stone hood and blue-gray cabinets. I also like the idea of the long lap pool and the small blue tiles along it. I like the stone, but i think going all the way up the walls with it in th foyer makes it feel a little too cold.

The castle-look interior is extremely HIDEOUS and very cold.

$24,000,000 for an interior like that? No way…

    2/10 (just for the location…)

The inside looks like an outside. Probably works for a Summer house
$24million for that house and that lot, no way you have got to be kidding!

Does the grey roofed house with pool belong to it too?

The location in Ft. Lauderdale is hard to beat. Rio Vista is just a great neighborhood. This point lot overlooking the Intracoastal will have views that change constantly, especially with boats coming out of the New River just north.

The house itself is nice enough from the outside, although it’s nothing spectacular. As others have said, the small lap pool makes no sense. Not only is it too small, it’s on the wrong side of the house; on the north side, it will get the least amount of sun. I think the whole house should have been shifted to the west, making a small front yard, but a larger back yard with room for a pool on the Intracoastal side. If the plan was for a more private lap pool, that could still have been done on a side of the house, connected to a larger social pool.

The interior in its current state is not great. However, a skilled decorator could do some nice things with it. I like that it could be more masculine than a lot of houses we see, but it needs some help. I’m picturing the arches and exterior doors with appropriate curtains, and how pleasant it could be with the doors open and breezes blowing through.

No matter how nice it would be with breezes passing through, the price is way out of line. I just don’t think it’s going to happen.

I rather like this place. I bet it could be decorated in a way that is extremely comfortable. I rather like the lap pool. Its an interesting shape so it doesn’t look like a swimming pool, but more like a fountain/water feature. I think its beautiful.

On the other hand, its surrounded by homes that aren’t anywhere near this size and quality, and so its price is really out of sync with reality.

Love the exterior, location, and the little bit of the grounds you can see. But the interior is atrocious. Looking at it makes me feel like im in a gray prison. I love the layout and it looks like it would be a beautiful house if there was more color.

Well geeze this sites just full of stone haters. I mean the interiors not the best ive ever seen but its not that bad!! i mean theres nothing in the house yet! wait until theres some different colors and textures to set off the stone a little bit. I like it. Definitely not for $20m tho!! And i also agree with everyone on the pool, i mean over sized water fountain. Its a cool idea but pretty much useless unless it wouldve flown into a bigger pool or something.

I appreciate the quality but the overuse of the stone doesnt’ make it feel like a home at all, but more like a museum or commercial building. Its not warm or inviting and plus it is ridiculously priced. Some nice qualities no doubt but with all that stone, yo can’t hang anything so the space will always feel cold. I love the use of stone as long as its done in moderation.
Great job on this site, btw guys.

Price aside, I think the place is beautiful. So many of the places on here are so overdone and hideous. This place is a little drab but it is also a clean slate for creative design. I agree on the pool, it was a missed opportunity for something great. A lap pool is no fun at all with a group of a people and I would hope that somebody with a house like this would be entertaining often.
