The exterior is beautiful, but not something truly incredible due to the fact that this type of exterior can be seen often in CT.Also, I don’t like the back exterior.

The interior is gorgeous from every aspect: The decoration of the rooms is lovely, making this house homey and livable enough.Personally, I love the most parts of the interior.Especially, I love the office/library room, it’s wonderful and very classy.

Ultimately, it’s a marvelous mansion with a price which is considered good for
    Greenwich.

Is the only pool access through the walk-out basement? It’s hard to tell, but it doesn’t look like there are stairs from the main-floor balcony to the back yard. That’s no bueno.

I think I’ve found the home on Birds-Eye. The home is located around 370-390 Round Hill Road, or two homes south of Mooreland Road, on the west side of Round Hill. Looking at the 360-view, it seems there are some steps leading from the garage to the pool. Looking at the birds-eye, the house looks like it had 2/3 of it added on later. Either way, I still think it looks like a big box. I would prefer the northern or southern neighbors.

On a side note, is Bing’s Bird-Eye acting a little screwy for other people for the past few weeks? It seems they changed their format around and have “Automatic”, “Road”, or “Birds-Eye” as viewing options. What the heck happened to Aerial? And every time I zoom in with birds-eye it switches back to road. Either way, it stinks!

Actually, the house looks like it is across the street from the Round Hill Church & Cemetery(?) And if you look at Google Street-View and Bing Birds-Eye, you can actually see a small cemetery that is directly north of the property.

Sorry, but I could not live directly next to a cemetery. Queue the ghost comments in 3……2…….1……

Good eye spotting the property, Daniel. But I still can’t pick out any stairs. They MUST be there, though.

(I thought you don’t become a ghost if you’re properly buried.)

The exterior is nice, but it’s a little weird. It kinda looks like a big ornate cube. I would have preferred a more rectangular shape. Inside is nice, if a little frilly. Yup, your typical Greenwich home.

See, and I had a different impression. From the front, it looks like it could be L-shaped, and from the back, it could be rectangular. I think the ornate exterior has contributed to the visual interest, rather than just making it seem bulky and overdone.

Yeah, even without any property information you can easily understand that this mansion is located on Greenwich. After seeing the interior you have no doubts that this is a CT mansion…

It looks like a lovely house. The outside is nice although it does come off boxy in the back. The interior is very nice. It’s not my style, but it’s been done very well. It has achieved elegant and comfortable at the same time. The entry foyer is a good example of when a mural is perfectly appropriate and how to use one properly.

Seems to be a very high-quality home at a great price. Some of the furnishings, however, make me think more ‘B&B’ than ‘home.’

Did they invent the word “garaging” in the listing?
