I like this one a lot. Gorgeous interior and exterior, great amenities. Seems overpriced for the area, though.

This is much better than that last house! I love the exterior, other than those front-facing garages. That wing of the house is the least attractive, yet becomes the focal point since the garage doors are the single largest features on the facade. I hate the choice of furniture inside. The house could feel very cozy with the right decor. I’m guessing the square footage includes the basketball court, pool, and garages since none of the spaces looks particularly large. With the right interior, I could really like this house.

Love to see the upper Midwest represented here! We should perhaps call lodges in Colorado “Minnesota-style” in the future. 🙂

Not a bad home. I like the woodwork on the front entry, though the garages throw off some of the balance. Inside is for the most part nice. I would have arranged the master bathroom vanities differently and I would convert the basketball court into a two-story theater or a showcase garage.

Not bad, but it does seem awfully expensive considering it’s Minnesota.

Yeah, I really like this home. I live in Minnesota, and I agree with you guys about that it’s too expensive. It’s not on Lake Minnetonka, which I think would make it better. In fact, it could’ve replaced “Living Waters” at 1535 Bohns Point Road, since that mansion was torn down. I agree that the garages should be on the side of the house instead of facing with the front. I think that the basketball court is nice, but I’m always a fan of full courts more. I think my favorite rooms are the family / tv room which are decorated quite nicely, and the fireplace room. Back to the tv room, I really like how the television is next to the fireplace, instead of above it, which always bothers me, because then the view is not eye-level.

If it was on Lake Minnetonka, I think the price should be around $5-6 million. Given where it actually is, the price should be more like $2.5-3.5 million.

    Does anyone agree?

    Minnysotah, eh? lol
I think this house is great! I love the style, and all the dark wood. I agree with Grrrowler though about the garage doors; my biggest pet peeve is when people build multi-million dollar homes with garage doors visible from the front/entry. They need to be hid, no matter how beautiful they may be.

    I like it.
Cut the price in half though and it is good.

I agree with all the comments above, it’s a charming home, but it does seem overpriced for the area.

This is a nice looking home on the outside and even better inside. I like the flow, the colors and the basketball court is a nice extra. I think its really well done and I think finally we see someone with some taste. Good call, guys.
