Not to sound like a completely pompous prick, but I ain’t impressed. I see something that rivals those ubiquitous Russian dachas in terms of tackiness, inside and out.

Let’s get the obvious crap out of the way. FOURTEEN BEDROOMS? Why? Is this a hotel or a private home? TWENTY-TWO BATHROOMS? ****INCONTINENCE ALERT****

The exterior stonework is repulsive in my opinion. COMPLETELY overdone. Not a shred of class in the design. I think the exterior is too symmetrical, and the marble floors (photo 6) are completely impractical…how many times a month are those polished? The pool and view are the only nice parts.

Inside, there isn’t much to see thanks to a lack of photos, but from what I can tell, it isn’t going to be restrained or livable. The ‘ballroom’ ceilings are about 6 feet too low. The master bath, although wonderfully huge, is ruined by the overabundance of natural stone and those ghastly cabinets. The theater looks surprisingly restrained. Overall, I would assume the interior is a gaudy mess.

Last but not least, the LAUGHABLE price. $30 million+???????? I get Bradbury is very nice, but come on. I could have a FANTASTIC home in Beverly Park, an OCEANFRONT home in Palm Beach, A penthouse overlooking Central Park, a gorgeous estate on 10+ acres in Greenwich, etc. No thank you.

I find that we have a difference of opinion most the time, but in this case everything you said is spot on. My post was just gonna call it ugly and leave it alone, but yours was much more thought out 😀

I agree with you guys – this is one ugly house. The only thing I like is the cobblestone driveway.

Private Residence 7 is the 25.000 sq.foot mega mansion of Ronald Holden, located on Jupiter,FL.

The exterior is one of the best I have ever seen.Absolutely impressive and incredible!!!

I have ,of course, doubts over the interior…I remembered Mike Fernandez’s house…

Oh my goodness, don’t remind me about the Fernandez home. My personal favorite is residence 10, which is located in the Bear’s Club and is owned by Patrick Park. I actually just picked up the most recent Florida Design, which features the home on the cover. The inside is magnificent as well; retrained yet incredibly elegant. He put it on the market a few months ago for $19.95 million but took it off after two or three months.

Great, now we let the owner of this “tacky estate” critique YOUR home..I’m sure he can probably find a few flaws if he is as picky as you were with his.

If I wanted to own a house that looks like a hotel, this would be it. Who wouldn’t want to give visitors to their $30,000,000 house driving directions by saying “If you end up on ‘Flood Control Road’ you need to turn around.”? While Bradbury might have a high median home price, the town is less than 2 square miles. In reality, living in Bradbury means living in Duarte, Pomona, etc. These are not what I would consider the towns of my dreams.

From what I can see of the interior, the decor rivals that of some of the finest casinos in Laughlin, Nevada.

As for the price…well, I needed something to make me laugh this morning, and this did it. If I’m going to pay almost $33,000,000 for a house, there are dozens, maybe hundreds, of other communities in which I’d rather live.

I agree with Grrrowler. Bradbury doesn’t seem like a very desirable location, especially for $33,000,000. This place is just too gaudy for my taste.

    It’s definitely overpriced…

The exterior and the views are stunning. As for the interior, I would want to see more pictures. The bathroom is too gaudy. The red living room(?) is interesting, but not something superb. The home theater room is beautiful.

Generally, I think that it’s a great estate.

I like… the… um, nothing. The interior design team (undoubtedly, this took a whole crew) obviously never said no to a swag or tassle in their lives. Ick.

I think this place looks like it belongs on the Vegas Strip, haha, not lil ol’ Bradbury. One word: TACKY. But I’m sure it cost a fortune to build, so obviously the current owner has far more money than taste. Apparently the floor of the six-car garage is also completely marble, lol. I do like the theater room and the spectacular views, though.

If anyone wants to see more of the interior of this airplane hangar, I found a youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eHy-kNqymYA

Seriously people???? This is not good enough for you? No wonder America has a problem. This is too much. Every piece of the house is amazing (ie nicer than a fancy vacation resort), but is much more than needed for one family.

completely agree Nick. it’s kind of disgusting that people can become so rich that they would critique this house in such a fashion. the gap b/w the rich and the poor is reminiscent of that of the times of the French Revolution. the iniquity is getting worse & worse each year. anywho, back on topic. in my HUMBLE opinion, I find the house to be a beautiful creation–a bit gaudy on the inside, but it’s location and views are absolutely incredible.
