Grand, stately and impressive. Front facade is a little strange and could have had a cleaner execution, but it isn’t bad at all. I don’t know if I would want to have a pond like that directly touching the exterior walls. It would be neat though in the winter to have your own private ice rink!

I love the view of it lit up at night the day not so much, indoor pool is tacky. The countryside and grounds are lovely.

The grounds are so beautiful. But the house is right on the road. That is a negative. But only a two lane road. So probably very little traffic. Exterior is ok. Interior seems a bit tacky.

My favorite chateaux on the water include: Château de Chenonceau: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ch%C3%A2teau_de_Chenonceau and Azay-le-Rideau: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ch%C3%A2teau_d%27Azay-le-Rideau I’ve been to the first one and would love to see the 2nd one in person. I’d love to build a modified Azay-le-Rideau on the water here in CA. As far as the Water Castle, I agree that it looks great on the outside, but I’d prefer a different interior. The layout looks very good.

Nope, don’t like it. Looks like Disneyland. That’s some serious christmas tree by the way…

It is not dubbed “water castle”. “Wasserschloss” (literal translation “water castle”) is a castle category. It’s a TYPE of castle.
