I do too for the most part, probably would 3 more bedrooms given the size of the house.

Not bad. Outside is a little busy and has some features that don’t quite work altogether, but it isn’t terrible.

Interior…hmm. First thing is that “staircase”. It looks like a ladder with a wrought-iron railing attached to it. COULD THEY HAVE MADE IT ANY STEEEPER????? The rest of the home is nice, maybe a bit too stuffy and a bit too grandparentish. I like the master closet, but it’s a pity about the way the cabinets are arranged….should have been against the wall so you could see the gorgeous ceiling more.

From the front the chimneys are way too prominent. The back is a jumbled mess. The pictures of the interior are almost like looking at two different houses. One house is frilly and gilded and has a grandma vibe going on. The other is a little severe, dark, and feels almost monastic. There’s a real problem with cohesiveness going on. For a 10,000 square foot house, a lot of the rooms look very cramped, especially the entrance foyer. It doesn’t need to be an airplane hanger like in some of the McMansions we see, but this seems to go to the opposite extreme. I would say “pass” on this place.

  • I’m just not that impressed by myself or money. The interior is quite gaudy.
