No way in hell this is a $18 million house. Sooooo many other homes we have seen in Arizona for 1/5 the price. It is a nice home though. Exterior stonework and detailing is very nice, but the single story layout doesn’t suit the style well in my opinion. Interior is nice as well. Some of the colors need to be changed, and the ceiling in the office needs some ornamentation. I do like how they attempted to have a garden…but the dirt walkway needs to be redone.

Not a bad home, just a laughable price.

The outside says Spanish Hacienda and the inside says New York Penthouse. Neither element itself is bad, but they don’t fit together. The interiors are actually quite nice, if not a little “old” looking. Clearly someone who knew what they were doing spent some time on them. I could actually like them in a different location. Some things would definitely have to go however (say goodbye to the giant clock in the kitchen). I’m also trying to decide if the interiors have been staged; the placement of items in the kitchen and the (possibly fake) orchid in the living room are dead giveaways. It’s too bad the house is in AZ. I could see this working very well in the South of France.

I don’t like the inside, but the landscaping is incredible!

The kitchen is probably the best looking part of this one. The pool and tennis court aren’t shabby either. But I would certainly not pay 18 million for it. And if I was going to live in the US I probably wasn’t going to live in Arizona.
