Here are some never before seen pictures of Ebay founder Pierre Omidyar’s 48,000 square foot mega estate which is located in Las Vegas, NV. Homes of the Rich reader Adam got the chance to view this amazing estate. Thanks for the pics Adam!! As you can see, the estate wasn’t completed when the pictures were taken, so I”m curious to see what it look like now!

Incredible home. I actually like the mausoleum feel going on, surprisingly. Amazing contemporary home…love the huge, open and airy living areas. The home also reminds me of a super-modern Arabian palace.

Very nice home, even during construction. Maybe we’ll be lucky and it will show up in Architectural Digest…

?!?!?!?!?!?! WHO are YOU and WHAT have you done with DAN?!?!?!?! 🙂

Just kidding, Dan………amazingly enough, I can’t agree with you, even though you know I adore Modern! Go figure!

The location STINKS on ICE…..RIGHT across the street from a professional/retail offices/buildings, and what look to be apartment complexes!? I can’t state any opinions on the house ’til it’s completed…..it’s in way too raw a state for me to get a feel for it.

I like the use of water all around since it is in the desert. The sound of running water always relaxes me and makes it ‘seem’ cooler than it really is. If these recent posts are from the same Adam, then he has a lot of ‘jealous’ fans. (ha-ha)

Kenny, I wanted to take a moment to tell you how much I appreciate your use of higher quality photos. Now you have this way where we don’t have to click on each one individually & don’t have to wait to be taken to another page. When there is a tour, I can’t do good screen captures (Microsoft Vista) & I depend on your photos because often I import them into my phone so I can view them later in the day. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! Loyal reader & fan – Brett

this complex was amazing, everything you could ever need in one place…I loved the sports complex which had an indoor basketball court, rock climbing wall with view of Las Vegas and the swim in place lap pool. The main outdoor pool was insane…largest pool I have ever seen, even bigger than the Neptune pool at Hearst Castle.
The most completed building that you see with the large square fountain is one of the guest house pavilions…too bad the rest wasn’t more finished.
@ Brett…don’t be jealous, just get even by going out there and gain access to some amazing estate somewhere, get pics and send to Kenny!! Although I will be sending pix of a 70,000 SF Bangkok palace that belongs to my ex’s family soon….

Two questions Adam: When were these photos taken? What are (your estimation) the dimensions of the pool you mentioned as being the largest you’ve seen?

Dude, who the hell are you and how do you get access to these homes?
You are obviously high up on the food chain to get into billionaire’s homes.

Chance, I was there around 3 years ago…just a random Vegas trip that ended up getting access to the house for a quick tour. I would estimate the pool to be at least 120′ long and about 60′ wide but there was an additional, very shallow section closer to the house that was probably about 25′ by 40′. The Neptune Pool is 104′ long and 58′ wide…but then has another portion that extends another 37’…so they are very close, but I think this pool is a bit larger. Regardless, the Neptune Pool doesn’t have a swim up bar with submerged bar stools hahaha

Venom…I’m kind of a big deal! hahahah…but seriously I just seem to find myself in very privileged situations 😉 It’s not like I got invited by Mr. Omidyar for a party…could you imagine hanging out at that house now??

You are a dumbass..he doesn’t take all of these pics for every mansion. I doubt Kenny has even been to one..these are from architect websites.

I remember when you first posted about this house (year, year and half ago) I thought, “Man, another misplaced and poorly designed billionaires estate.” Now I actually like it based on these photos, would still love to see what it looks like finished though.

I also wanna add that according to the original HOTR post about this house it has 33 bedrooms and 25 bathrooms, both if true are complete ridiculous, WAY WAY too many bedrooms and a few too many bathrooms.

It’s interesting, and impressive in its scale and scope. I can’t say I love it but it’s interesting. I like some parts of it, and there’s definitely a Middle-Eastern Modern vibe going on, which is at least different. I do appreciate that it’s not the typical faux-Tuscan “villa” that we see so often. From the bird’s eye and street views it looks a little like either a shopping mall or a hotel. It’s anything but secluded, on a very busy divided road.

For a home over 48,000 square feet it looks amazing, normally most mega mansions are over the top, while I know it wasn’t finished at the time the pics were taken, very impressed with the scenery, and it just looks totally nice all over.

I love the Persian river garden theme. Obviously a student of his culture and history as the four rivers garden is an exemplary example of Muslim/Persian/Mughal architecture.
