This 12,000 square foot mansion is located in Old Tappan, NJ and boasts 6 bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, 2-story foyer with curved staircase, formal living room with fireplace, mahogany-paneled library with fireplace and coffered ceiling, 2-story great room with fireplace, formal dining room, gourmet kitchen with dining area and a 3-car garage. The 4,000 square foot lower level boasts a family room with wet bar, 3-tier home theater, gym and a wine cellar. It is listed at $2,399,000.
Where should I begin? The exterior is BORING and UGLY. The fireplace design in the 2-story great room is HIDEOUS. The kitchen seems a bit small to me, but maybe there is another part that is not in the picture. The poor excuse of a home theater is disappointing. You live in a million dollar house and you put a regular non flat screen TV in the movie theater?! Save that for the living room!! The only thing that I remotely like is that beautiful mahogany library. What about you guys?

It’s different… I like it, actually.
The library does stand out as the nicest room in the mansion.
****STUNNING****
From that palatial exterior to the interior, you can tell it is high class, old money for sure. The sitting room with the mismatched screen and fireplace to the 1984 living room set is honestly very cool. The dining room with the bite-size chandelier is just screaming for a freakshow dinner. The gargantuan living room is a perfect homage to the Amityville house, and the owner’s were extra daring by throwing in the French style furnishings…and that fireplace surround…is that *real* silly puddy? Kitchen I think is toooooo big to be used, but the owners saved it by putting in another screen. The basement is perfect for a late night soiree. And that theater would make James Cameron jealous; 4-D TV anyone?…it’s smellavision I tell you!
It’s in Jersey, it’s palatial and architecturally stunning, and it’s a bargain. What more do you want?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Awesome write-up Daniel! =)
I like the theater except for the yellow paint, basement window (always nice in a theater), door in the front, trailer park surround sound and antique tv.
So basically you like the four walls and tiered floor.
The only things missing are a bunch of faux-French furniture and a “Real Housewife”.
haha, you said it!
Definitely not my cup of tea, it’s just bleh
Ha! It was on HBO last night and I recorded it!
“Give me a kiss.” “Give me a twenty.” Priceless!
