This magnificent compound, dubbed La Villa Contenta, is located at 26848 Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, CA. It is situated on top of a bluff on 1.52 beautifully landscaped acres of land and boasts expansive ocean views. The compound was built in 2000 and boasts a total of 6 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms and approximately 20,000 square feet of living space. There is a 4 bedroom 12,000 square foot main house, gourmet kitchen, home theater, a detached guest house, 2 maids quarters, multiple loggias, gorgeous formal gardens, outdoor infinity swimming pool, pool house, expansive decks, tennis court, stunning indoor lap pool, office space that can be used as a 6 bedroom second home and much more. It is listed at $34,500,000 on Realtor.com, while the agent’s website has it listed at a whopping $75,000,000. I have no idea which one is correct. Does anybody have an idea? It is also available for rent at $250,000 a month.
The home has appeared in several movies and television shows and has been used for numerous charity events.

Damn!
it is available for 34.5, but you can also purchase together with additional adjoining lot for 75 mill.
I find most of these areas in California overpriced. I guess you pay for location though. Imagine what $75M would get you in Dallas!
I love opulence, but this compound honestly does nothing for me. Again a home with three large structures, all of which are almost the same size…POINTLESS! At least I know where they got that pool in “True Blood” from. That’s about the only thing I like about this house.
Nice, but $75 million is too much. I can understand $34 million….
Once again, AS USUAL in CRAZYfornia, you guys, the inmates are runnin’ the asylum. Sighhhhhhh…..lovely home (it SURE AS SHIT BETTER BE, FOR THIRTY-FOUR POINT FIVE MILLION #!%!@$! DOLLARS), but again…..the views would be every iota as beautiful from a home half that size, but every bit as beautiful. One that might ACTUALLY HAVE A SNOWBALLS’ CHANCE IN HELL OF SELLING these days! TOO MUCH opulence, size, grandiose EVERYthing, blah, blah, blah, blah……
There are some great details in the house, but it’s just not my style. The location is great. If I were to live in Malibu I’d prefer to live on a bluff than right on the beach. The grounds are great, although to my eye they’re a little old-fashioned. I’m just not into the idea of a compound.
Looks like a great place to have for vacationing IMO, definitely would make for a nice rental, not sure if I’d want to live there though. Very gorgeous home, but I mean it’s like fit for a Roman emperor or something!
I can see this being an excellent vacation home (if it is 34 million). The views are incredible and the house is nice… but other then that

I think this place is AMAZING…that indoor pool competes with the indoor pool at Hearst Castle. They certainly spared no expense with this house.
Nice house. The interiors are very artistic.
According to The Realestalker this estate is actually over 8 acres, I think for $75 million it would have to be at least 8 acres and judging by the photo of the grounds it looks to be 8 acres, maybe the descrepency is as someone stated already, maybe for $34 million you get 1.5 acres, but for $75 million you get all 8 acres I guess
