Almost everything is hideous, nothing stands out. I don’t like it.
And for $500.000, come on, why would you pay that for a house per month. You’d better stay in a hotel; for almost €17.000 a day/night you couldn’t ask for more.

Its a tax trick. They don’t want it to rent, they want a tax deduction for some LLC thingy that “owns” it so they can write the entire expense off versus just mortgage interest.

I agree with you; they don’t care if they rent it or not…probably prefer they didn’t. They are trying to work a tax angle.

Or could be like a mansion on the same street as my former boss. It was not this absurd, but the husband said sell and while the wife wanted to stay. The husband was a busy exec where he left the sale in his wife’s hands and while he wondered why it was not selling they did not really check into it for an entire year…at which point he found his wife had it listed for twice a realistic price to prevent a sale.

There is no way to work taxes where if you aren’t taking in money you are somehow saving more than not renting it… It’s more likely just for press to get people to look at the house then call up and the realtor will say, “oh you can rent it now for 90% off, just $50k”.

At first I was going to comment that $50,000 a month was not so bad, then I re-read the title.
If that was not a typo then OMG, that is insane.
The owner must be smoking the purest finest highest grade crack.

My parents live in St. Andrews and once in a while on Sundays when the construction workers aren’t there, I sneak into the homes being built — this being one of them. While the home is obviously very well done with some of the finest touches, I personally think it’s a BIT too contrived and parts of it aren’t very ”homey”.

Also, it must be a typo with an extra zero. $50k is much more like it. Just up the street, 7699 Fenwick Place, at about 6,000 less sqft, is going for $15k/mo.

I don’t like a single thing about it. I hate the location; if I’m going to live in FL I’m not going to live west of I-95. The exterior is not my style, and the interior is less than not my style. It’s highly detailed and, surprisingly, restrained but it’s way too heavy for my liking (and for the locale IMO). As for the price, that’s just laughable. Apparently Kaye likes his house so much he doesn’t really want to sell/rent it.

For that 43,000 sqft home that one can rent for $250K/month, you’d think they’d provide some pictures of its interior.

This place is a joke…. right? I would never pay $500k a month for this property!

$500.000 a month for this house????Definitely no…The less I can say is that it’s totally overpriced and truly excessive…It’s nothing special :it’s a typical FL mansion with a ‘decent’ interior (some parts are nice, some others not…) and a beautiful exterior. That’s it.
Kenny is 100% right:With half price you can rent this 25 acres 43.000 sq.foot Beverly Hills mansion!!!
