Homes of the Rich reader Daniel pointed out that the owners of the home completely re-did the interior. It went from an Italianate-style villa to a modern, chic style interior. Before before before, although I do like how they enclosed the loggia and made it into a incredible casual living space.

I like parts of both the old and the new, and dislike parts of the old and the new. Definitely the old living room. The new master BR is much improved. The old kitchen looked better, and I don’t like the dining room decor in either incarnation. I don’t like all the stenciling on the walls and ceiling in the old version, and the cherub in the foyer…that thing belonged at the bottom of the Atlantic.

Most definitely the BEFORE. The deco was much more articulate and boasts of elegance!
