The exterior is really bland ( all one color) and the interior has too many colors, but other then that, I actually like this home.
What’s ENGLISH about it? I see no architectural features that define it that way. It looks like a big tract house to me.
Don’t really like the living room. Overall, it’s an ok house….
Meh… I’m not sure in what part of the country you’d find this England.
The exterior looks like two smaller townhouses connected via a common wall. The balance is completely off on the front facade. As for the interior, if it’s an English country house, why so many faux French details? Oh, right: If it’s French it’s classy. I hate the over-sized pseudo parquet de versailles floors. It was a terrible idea to lay the floor at a 45 degree angle under ceiling beams running parallel to the room. As for the baby poo colored paint on the walls, that would be the first of many things to go. I don’t hate the master bedroom layout but the paint and the curtains have to go.
I’m right there with ya’ on the front exterior, Grrrowler……it’s a hot mess. No pleasing continuity or proportions…..waaay too busy. As for the back yard, it’s a CRIME that there’s NO pool…..IN GEORGIA, on a LOT THAT BIG…..DURING THE SOUTHS’ GOD-AWFUL SUMMERS….inexcusable, as far as I’m concerned. As for the interior, I like it more than dislike it……I quite fond of the color schemes, and I don’t think the alternating floor and ceiling designs fight each other at all….with ceilings THAT high, no problem. But I’d still definitely put a beautiful, large & complimentary area rug in the living room. And, are you calling the master bedroom paint color “baby poo” or another room? Also, I very much like the stone fireplace treatment…..it’s perfect.
It’s more the living room that is the offensive shade of yellow, but I don’t really care for any of them. I’m a fan of color in houses, just not these colors.
No pool? How terrible…
