I had done a post on this home back in February when it was on the market for $13,995,000. It has gone back on the market for $12,795,000 and now has more pictures. The newly built, castle like home is located at 7 Loch Lane in Greenwich, CT and is situated on 3.22 acres of land. It boasts 14,150 square feet of living space with 6 bedrooms, 7 full and 1 half bathrooms, grand rotunda foyer with double bridal staircase and domed coffered ceiling, gourmet kitchen with huge island, mahogany library with octagonal coffered ceilings, master suite with his-and-hers baths, 60 foot swimming pool with pool house, limestone terraces and walkways, 5-car garage, and a separate 2 bedroom, 1900 square foot guest house.

Oh dear God. Whoever thought that the roof should slope like that on the left side of the house is insane. It looks an addition, an addition from 1974. Such a distraction that throws off the balance.

Interior is nothing too impressive. I know it is Greenwich, but for $12 million+ I would like to see some better details.

What a mess. Why do people insist on building these kinds of eyesores?

I really like the interior actually, but my god that exterior looks cheesy, like a prop form a high school play

i agree completely. plus i dont get the whole thing with trying to make the outside of a normal 15000 sf home look like cinderella’s castle…

I’m in agreement that this is something of a mess architecturally. WTF is up with that roof? The kids can go sledding on it in the winter I guess. I’m not overly impressed with the entire house either. For almost $13 million there are many other houses in Greenwich I would chose over this one. I actually quite like the exterior of the guest house however. I could be quite comfortable in that!
