Here is a look at some of my favorite gourmet kitchens. I love all types of kitchens, from traditional to contemporary to ultra modern. I myself spend most of my time in the kitchen, so it’s definitely one of the most important rooms in the house, wouldn’t you agree? The first three kitchens pictured above were designed by the amazing luxury designer Clive Christian. Share your favorites!!

  • That Clive Christian, upper line second from left, is a good one. Here in Finland, where things are terribly expensive, I was told it would cost over a hundred thousand euros including appliances!

I can’t tell if I actually like this kitchen or just the beautiful blue swirled granite counters.

I agree with the consensus. Clive Christian really knows how to do opulent and classy without crossing into the tacky and cheap looking. I really think that kitchen cabinetry should look like fine furniture.

Kenny the 4th kitchen in the bottom row is huge. The house is at 15 n. church Saddle River NJ. I was in that house, the kitchen is larger than my 1st apartment.

Yup, I was in there as well. The kitchen is massive! I love the 2 huge islands.

Yeah, that’s the house, but it was all a misunderstanding.

Did you like the house or no? The location isn’t great.

I like the house and agree about the location. The thing that impressed me the most is the vacuum seated indoor pool. I have to believe that is one well built house.

Kenny… I love this post. The kitchen is the most important room! Thanks for the Clive C. tip as I was not aware if him.

  • I love the 4th one from the top (is this in Newport beach?), but my absolute favorite is the Clive Christian kitchen, the first one on the left that has statue niches in the kitchen. How cool is that? Most upscale homes in the 10 million dollar range have horrid kitchens. Even my all time favorite home has a mess of styles (every window frame is a different period!) If I became the owner, one of the first things I’d do after finishing the fencing and putting all the chandeliers in, would be to rip that kitchen out and start from scratch with CC. Interesting enough, many 4 – 5 million dollar homes have much better kitchens. My favorites are the ones with an auxillary or 2nd kitchen. There’s even one in Las Vegas that has 2 ranges, 2 refrigerators, you name it! There’s a great YouTube video put up by John McMonigle about a CC Certified Kitchen Planner.
