Here are some mansion designs that were done by some of our readers. Remember, if you have designs that you would like to share with everyone, please don’t hesitate to send them to me at kenny17995@yahoo.com

Home #1 – Picture #1 – This mansion was drawn on paper by reader Robert Hill.

Home #2 – Pictures #2,3,4,5,6 – This mansion was designed by reader Taylor Busch  in the program Chief Architect in an architecture class in school last year. The total square footage is around 17,500. The home has a four car garage, gated drive with fountain, multiple mature gardens, movie theater, 5+ bedrooms, 7+ baths, a huge 2+ story entrance foyer with a double bridal staircase and an oversized 2+ story great room, 2 offices, library, master bedroom over garage, 2 outdoor swimming pools, a tennis court, basketball court, and multiple stone patios. The house would most likely be located in the NYC tri-state area (NY,CT,NJ)

Home #3 – Pictures #7,8 – These two mansions were made on the computer game Sims 3 by reader Ryan.

      That’s not a call box.

The mansion is supposed to be set back further. Gives the effect of the “callbox” being larger.

Kenny, there’s something interesting about how Taylor’s design embraces the pool, but I can’t make out the rooms. If he doesn’t mind would you send a better copy to me on email?

  • All of these are awesome! I used to use Sims 2 all the time to design mansions haha :D.

Joe, Rob’s drawing is perspective – of course the house would be smaller!

Tay, yes indeed. As Kenny knows I’m in the design process of a large neoclassical manor, and a couple of elements of your house catch my eye. Send anything you like to davetew@aol.com

Yeah no problem. Wow that’s pretty impressive! Are you an actual architect with a firm or are you just designing it liesurely??

Should have been more precise. I am a real estate developer (second career after being an evil wall street banker), and I’m “running the show” on the design of the house. I give my architect inspiration ideas, and he makes them work.

Still not happy with one aspect of the house and your design triggered an idea (not a blatant knockoff).
