These two large mansions are being built side by side on Chase Road in Windermere, FL. The home on the left hand side is larger than the one on the right hand side. The one on the right has castle-esque characteristics to it such as the turrets and towers. I just don’t understand why they would build two large homes right next to each other. This situation reminds me of the two homes (one of them is C. Frederick Wehba’s $68.5 million mega-mansion) located on Sunset Boulevard in Beverly Hills, CA.

Well these were bought in 2006 and there is limited “large” estate space left around Isleworth. The northern house is right next to Shaq’s house. More recent photos show the Southern house already complete which happens to be owned by Johnny Damon.
Windermere….you can have it. On the lake no less. I think Winter Park is nicer in my opinion. Not as new and some very nice gigantic oak trees lend a permanence to the town.

Both of them, ESPECIALLY the wanna’-be English castle look about as “at home” & well-suited for Florida as an IGLOO. They’re both ridiculously monstrous and have all the sub-tropical appropriateness of Buckingham Palace.
