I don’t get it. In pictures 4 and 6, the rooms are incorrectly shaped. They are too long and “narrow”. It looks like a bowling alley, with the couches as the bumpers. Specifically for picture 6, the room is too spread out, and disconnected.
The only room of the pictures anyway that I like it the game room. Although, I’d take down those curtains.
The outside is nice. I like the pool and tennis court.
Those pictures were taken with a wide angle lense which skews how the proportions look in the images. Still, I agree that the proportion of the rooms is not right, and the furniture placement is terrible.
The rest of the house is a hot mess. The exterior is austere Elizabethan but someone decided that apparently it was really French The “salon” in picture 4 looks like a decorator from the reign of Louis XIV threw up all over it…it’s just awful. Did anyone else notice the 1980′s limed oak and brass side table combined with more faux-Louis furniture in the breakfast room? It’s nausea-inducing.
