the house is really nice, but the floor plans are a bit odd. maybe its just a British thing, but the back staircase takes you to an area that is not connected to the rest of the house. you have to take different stairs to get to different parts of the house. the rooms look really close together and there are a lot of really long hallways. and there isnt a mud room or anything practical like that, you walk in from the garage into a narrow stair hallway and then the kitchen. maybe its supposed to be that way in England, but it seems odd. but to be clear, I do really like this house
i noticed that too and i think the person who made the floorplans must have been in a rush or something because a few of the bathrooms upstairs are only shown having a sink. even one of the bedrooms is only accesible through a different bedroom… must be some sort of mistake. love the house though too.
haha yea, there is no entrance to bedroom 2. and bedroom 7 you have to walk through the dressing room.
Am i the only one who thought the exterior shot was a digital image? English homes in general seem to all have odd floorplans. I do like the interior details of the home…reminds me of Candy & Candy a little bit.
i thought the same thing too. it’s funny i was in england earlier this summer and all the houses seemed to have that same look and we couldn’t quite put our finger on why. what i realized though was that none of the houses in england or ireland plant flower beds around the base of the houses like we do here. instead what your more likely to see is a concrete path circling the house or just nothing at all.
The exterior shot does look like a digital image, but I don’t think it is. I think it’s just an odd filter on the camera. The floorplan is really weird, but English houses can have some odd layouts. I’ve seen many and I’ve never really understood what that point was. As for the interiors, I like them too although I’m not sure I’d want to live with them long term. Love this, the interiors are very “Footballer” but they are very nice
