Gorgeous home. I love the fact that it is on acreage.

The house itself is lovely; I love the stonework on the outside. It definitely needs the touch of a professional landscaper outside; the house is just sitting on it’s environment instead of in it.

Hopefully it’s not being sold furnished. I would strip out every piece of furniture, every window treatment, all those horrid ceiling fans, the track lighting in the closet (track lighting?!), all of the carpet, and the hideous chandeliers.

What is with these people in these new “old world” mansions that feel that the only furniture they can use is Faux French Country? It’s boring, it’s tacky, and it’s ugly. As Daniel has said, it looks like they stopped at Rooms To Go and said “Give me the classic European rooms.” Blech.

I like aspects of this place, but not everything. I don’t like the approach to the front, as it seems you need to go past this row of garage doors to arrive at the front of the house. If you come in from the other side you have to pass a much much smaller home on the same driveway. Its odd.

And whats with that incredibly long and sweeping staircase that snakes down from the back of the house to the garage parking area? Its just way out of scale for what it is. Is it the front door? If it is, then it is very awkward. If its the back, then its way over done.

Holy Christ! Is the kitchen really the first thing you walk into? Wow, I think it is…Whoever thought that would be a good idea should shoot themselves in the face.

    Well worth the money.
Proper lot and that fountain is amazing.
    Not bad….for Texas.
