The house is beautiful but the walls in the entrance hall are painted in the ugliest color I have ever seen!
The walls are not painted. Its hard to tell in the picture above but the broker has a PDF file that shows it is wallpaper and yes it is ugly wallpaper. I do like the house and you could always paint the foyer a different color.
Is it just me or is that a lot of contrasting and conflicting colors?
Thank you for mentioning me! haha. I love this house, such a true and gorgeous property in Mendham
Have you seen this guys billion dollar house inspired by the Hanging Gardens of Babylon?

Yea that home was being built like 3 years ago, I’m sure anyone who follows this blog knows all about it, it’s a ridiculous place.
Yeh man, I’m sure the regular readers of this blog will know all about it. It’s still amazing though, but I mean seriously, it shouldn’t even qualify as a house. It’s like a whole apartment complex that’s for the guys entire family to live in, which coincidentally is also the richest family in India if I’m not mistaken. The disgusting thing about that is that much of the population is still starving in India and don’t have access to clean drinking water, and there are slums that are really unheard of in the Western world. Why build a 1 billion apartment complex just for yourself in such an environment? That is just plain selfish, especially given the mass poverty in the country that still exists.
This is really a gorgeous home to live in. I love the sun room coz it looks refreshing. @Supinder: Yes, I have seen it and it is 550 ft high. WOW!
I can’t believe how cheap it’s going for. I actually worked on this house from beginning to end so i know how much it was built for. He is losing out on about 10 million… Ouch.
