We all just learned this week that The Real Housewives of NJ reality star Teresa Giudice and her husband filed for bankruptcy after citing that they owe close to $11 million to creditors. It was then reported that their home, which is valued at $1.8 million, was going into foreclosure. Well, Teresa’s home just went on the market for $3,999,999. Located at 6 Indian Lane in Towaco, NJ, the 10,500 square foot mansion boasts 6 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, a grand double staircase, marble and granite floors, spacious gourmet kitchen, formal living and dining rooms, huge 2-story great room, game room, wine cellar, home theater, and a separate live/in guest suite. The home sits on 3.5 acres of wooded property with 2 ponds, a fountain, and a gated entrance. I wish you all the best Teresa!!

Damn man imagine going bankrupt after having it all. It must feel so awful. But you have to be kind of dumb to lose all your money, no? I don’t get it, if you’re a multi-millionaire, how do you become bankrupt? Living way above your means?? So dumb. Your life is sorted and perfect, you can send your children to private school, pay for college no problem, have a great house in a nice area, go on luxury holidays….why would you start living way above your means and going into debt? There’s just no need for it. Whatever. Anyways, this house is nice but it’s a bit too ‘Disney fairy tale’ and feminine for me. Also, it seems to me, a lot of the Housewives are going bust lol. Didn’t one of the OC also have her home in foreclosure?

yea this house looks cheesy, if you go on Google earth over this house and look at the historical sat imagery it looks like they built this house right over the frame of an old house/warehouse thing.
Wow, this is really a shame. Nearly every house wife on every housewife franchise on bravo living beyond their means. Like wow, they were really putting on a show for a tv show. 11 million dollars in debt ? I bet they were financially fine before Bravo put her on the show. Living beyond your means is never good. OMG THATS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING !!! Like with a home of this size and stature(?) they couldn’t put the garages on the side of the house .. The garages being in the front of the house in plain sight makes the house look awful .. If the garages weren’t there the house would be so much more appealing !
You both took the thoughts right out of my head. I have NEVER seen an estate home with front- load garages. So tacky!!! My husband and I live in Rio Vista, and we have 4 car garages along the left side bottom of the house.

Of course she will be back. She really needs that $3000+ salary a month from Bravo. But did you ever wonder what her next house will be since according to her “it is gross to live in houses previously owned by other people?”.
There are so many honest, hardworking, smart, beautiful, intelligent people in this world that did not get a chance to shine and you want to wish these idiots well. Good Job! No wonder many people are losing hope in the future of this world.

Just curious cus I don’t know all that much about real estate but if the house is only valued at 1.8 than how come it’s listed at nearly 4 mil?? I know the market has super bad and all so that just seems unreasonable that someone would pay more than double the value.

I know she has a 50 year mortgage for 1.72 million. Thats probably where that figure is coming from. They owned the lot, and ripped down the house that was on it. It is very plausible the house is worth more that the mortgage. The property is horrible and irregular, and backs up to 287, which is a MAJOR highway in NJ. Good luck to her with selling that!!
SO UGLY! I hat front entry garages, turrets, and homes that try too hard to look like fairy tale castles. In architecture this would be considered a faux-chateaux. Absolutely HIDEOUS!
This place is really repugnant, can’t believe someone actually chose to let the exterior end up the way.
