I have two words to describe this home……GOLD…..and……MARBLE!!!!! Most of the floors throughout the home are made of white marble (and also onyx) and most of the rooms contain the color gold. The elaborate 15-room, 12,000 square foot mansion sits on over an acre of land and is located on Summit Road in Florham Park, NJ. It boasts 7 bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, grand double staircase, a spectacular Clive Christian designed kitchen with 2 large islands, formal living and dining rooms, a family room, slate patio, recreational room with wet bar and kitchen, swimming pool with spa and waterfall, and much more. It is listed at just $2,000,000. What do you guys think?

Well I was wrong – you can have too much of a good thing. I love marble and gold but this is just too much. It needs some wood floors to warm it up. The outside is not very nice – looks like a big yellow box

That black carpet in the bedroom – yuck! I also don’t particularly like the lime green kitchen. This home needs to be re-decorated pronto

$2million for 12,000 sq ft in NJ ain’t bad but you need to spend at least another $500,000 on the interior to make it nice coz atm the interior looks like a nightmare

Poor house doesn’t know what it wants to be. Mediterranean, Louis XVIIXIXIX, Art Deco, contemporary, etc. House looks like a nice retirement home.

Agreed–that interior is absolutely hideous. The furniture matches the over the top walls, crown mouldings and everything else. The price per SF is a steal for sure, but like Stewie said, prepare to shell out a nice amount to make this thing more warm and inviting.

Exactly agree with everyone. This place is one word, with three syllables……..”UUUUG-AHHHH-LEEEE”! Looks like Liberace came back from the dead and decorated it, on a cheap-ass budget!!! BARF! The same goes for the outside…..that’s one of the most pathetic interpretations of mediterranean I’ve EVER seen. A tear down, as far as anyone with one ounce of real taste is concerned, in my opinion.

I think this is a little too much even for Liberace. Words don’t exist to describe how much I hate this place!

This house is priced great but the problem is as others have already stated, it’s all over the place with it’s interior. Also as has been noted, the new owner needs to get someone in and they decide on a solid plan for the interior and then shore it up and eliminate all of the other yuck stuff, has great potential once that it is done.
