Hmm, well what do you know? It looks like 2 more homes that were recently featured on episodes of Teen Cribs are on the market. Like we haven’t seen this before! Both of these homes have been on the market since July of 2009, way before they were exploited on Teen Cribs. It seems as though homeowners are all convinced that MTV is a great way to get exposure for their homes. Well, whatever works for them.

House #1 – This home was shown to MTV viewers by a snobby (and oh so annoying) 15 year old. Her father is an investment banker or something like that. The home is located at 6115 N Ocean Blvd in Ocean Ridge, Florida. It is listed at $7,250,000 (and isn’t even oceanfront) and boasts 6 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, and over 12,000 square feet of living space.

House #2 – This home was shown to MTV viewers by a ditsy 22 year old college student. Her father, Dale Dodson, owns Dalcor Properties. The home is located at 2504 Beacon Crest Drive in Plano, TX. It is listed at $4,799,000 and boasts 6 bedrooms, 9.5 bathrooms, and close to 11,000 square feet of living space.  By the way, it boasts a 14 foot deep swimming pool!!

LOL@Yawn, I know what you mean Kenny. Given how tough it is to sell homes now, MTV repeats might be the best way to go. The bigger probably I’m guessing is that most really rich people who have teens aren’t calling MTV saying please feature my home. They have money and don’t need the publicity.

It doesn’t bother me that people use MTV to try and sell there homes, it’s really all MTV is good for anymore. My hope is that someone with a 40,000 or 50,000 square foot house wants to sell and displays it on Teen Cribs. -_-

I just caught this one, The Temple House, the largest single family home in South Beach. The property has been for sale for quite a while now.

It’s funny I just stumbled onto this blog while trying to find the episode for house #2, and some of what you said isn’t quite the whole truth. Channing Dodson the “ditsy 22 year old college student” isn’t actually a college student, but a singer/songwriter and most 22 year old southern girls come off as ditsy.
http://www.myspace.com/channingdodson check out some of her stuff and there’s some pics of her just hanging out eating dinner with Jason Castro and David Cook so MTV really didn’t stray too far. I know these people personally and they’re good people. North Texas does suck though, I’m from Orange County and freaking miss it every day. Don’t take this down Kenny, not trying to be a know it all just putting it out there.

Yeah, I understand. I don’t like to judge people, I just said what I saw in that episode. I bet they are amazing people.
