I’m still shocked by the priced though, because the 2nd most expensive home in the area is on the market for $7.6 million (about half) and has more than 13,000 square feet of living space. 204 Vaccaro Road boasts 9 bedrooms, 11 full and 3 half baths, 5 fireplaces, banquet sized dining room, great room with 5 French doors, mahogany paneled library/office, family room with wet bar, glass conservatory, gym, home theater, indoor swimming pool with spa and sauna, a steam room and a Moroccan party room. The estate’s grounds include formal gardens, stone courtyard, patios, tennis court, giant chess set, rotunda, orchard, and a vineyard. What do you think?

It’s a dump.
It’s way to close to the road… and none of the landscaping is mature. It looks like the landscaping around every cheap suburban tract home that will have a nice “tree” in 25 years bc the samplings in the front yard were in the budget and not mature transplants.
For that money, I’d expect some lush, mature gardens.
Gorgeous Architecture, Layout is fantastic, Is quite close to the road due to the size and irregular shape of the plot but who cares anyway, Gorgeous Landscaping, no huge trees makes for stunning vistas of the grounds from the house, love the symmetry and the axis in the garden, Love how the one portion of the lower level opens out to the garden,

It does back up to the golf club so you do have a nice back yard. I love the outdoor chess set.
I looked it up on Bing maps – this place would fit “inside” some of the nearby homes. Looking east the third and fourth houses over are huge! The Enghish looking one is just unreal.

I don’t think I saw a house in the surrounding area that looked like it was under 5,000 square feet.
I know! You should definitely see the area in person if you ever visit New Jersey. The thing I like about it is that all the homes have a different architectural style; country, colonial, neoclassical, french, etc.
I love the look of it but is way to close to the road and I dont like the wall in the font yard.
