    Nice house.
I don’t know about $25 million nice, but it is not bad.
The pool area is the best part of the home.
The setting is definitely not a $25 million setting.

Money doesn’t go as far in California. In a state like Iowa or North Carolina, that place probably could go for $17 million.

This home has been for sale for a LONG time. I remember looking at a listing way more than a year ago. A Realtor (I used to be one) can confuse people by taking a home off of MLS and then putting it back on so it looks like a fairly new listing. Lenny Dykstra’s home (ex-Wayne Gretsky) in Thousand Oaks is like that, shows like a new listing. Of course the home is now a part of the bankruptcy court, so I guess his stock picking service didn’t work. Too bad for all those who paid a thousand smackeroos for his recommendations!!!

This mansion has been destroyed, and there is an uber castle being built in its place. I am so curious as to who is building it. They’ve even destroyed another very large adjacent house and bought another one you can’t see from the street, that I’m guessing they’re destroying too for their compound.

And, I read that they have converted the street leading up to the house from a public (city property) to a private st. I guess since they bought the house across the road and are making a huge compound it makes sense. I drive by this everyday and it gets bigger and bigger. Maybe it will be a hotel in the end.
