The 21,000 square foot mansion, which has been on and off the market for quite sometime, has finally sold. It is located at 8 Sgt Schwartz Drive in Stony Point, NY. Thanks to fellow blogger Mike Frilund for the tip. The home, which was last on the market for $6,495,000, recently went into contract (however I don’t know if it sold for the exact listing price). In today’s economy, the fact that this home sold, should give some hope to other homeowners who have also put their multi-million dollar homes on the market.

* There are now floor plans available for the home. Check it out!!

HERE ARE THE LISTING DETAILS AGAIN FOR ANYONE WHO DOESN’T KNOW ABOUT THE PROPERTY:

Beautiful home for a great price. I love the interior, it’s simply exquisite and the hardwood floors are to die for. Great pictures that really capture the essence and beauty of this home.

I love, love, love looking at the floor plans of these big mansions! The website for the house is awesome…and I agree with Marie, the pictures do a great job of showing the beauty of the home. The exterior wouldn’t be my favorite…but all in all I think it’s a great house.

The interior is amazing! The outside bland and boring. I like the tunnel in the basement to the carriage house (other garage).

I agree with the other posts – the ugly outside is very out of place with the awsome inside. The woodwork is unreal – some of the best I have seen.

I hear that the new owners are doing the driveway with custom Unilock stones specially made for them with over 100 low voltage LED lights that you can drive on.
Also the pool design is going to be pretty large with Zero entry system that is going to breathtaking just like “Heaven on Earth”

Currently they are updating all the windows to to Electronic shades which will be controlled by the Crestron Whole house systems

Can’t wait to hear more about it..Wonder if they would post any pictures on the website?

It’s about time that this “Gorgeous Manor” is complimented by a Driveway to match the unbelivable inside.
