Hi all, Alan here again. One area of mansions I really like is the Carmel and Zionsville, Indiana area. There is a lot of money in the area, and hence, many mansions. Here are some of my favorites:

Pictures 1 – 5:
This home I know nothing about, but all I can tell you is that it is to the east of West Rd, near W 138th St. The home has its own pond and bridge. It has 3 stories in part of the home, with a backyard pool. I like how the home is away from the main road. Lots of privacy.

Pictures 6 – 12:
This home I maybe like the best. It has its own lake, golf greens, huge backyard pool and patio area, and what appears to be 2 guest houses. According to Realtor.com some particulars are:
17,278 sq ft, 9 bedrooms, and 8.5 bathrooms. The address is: 12351 West Rd Zionsville IN 46077. If you Google Earth it, for some reason, they have the address as the house next door. That is of course, incorrect.

Pictures 13 – 16:
This home is tucked away back from the road, so it has its privacy, and also has a medium sized lake next to it. According to Realtor.com some particulars are: 18,080 sq ft, 4 bedrooms, and 9.5 bathrooms. The address is: 1523 W 131st St Carmel IN 46032.

Located at 5107 Kelsey Road in Dallas, TX, this Mediterranean style home is on the market for $6,950,000. It encompasses over 10,000 square feet of living space and boasts 5 bedrooms, 5.3 bathrooms, a master bedroom with sitting area and bar, a detached guest suite with courtyard, a study,  a computer room, a den with wet bar, a wine cellar, an elaborate home theater on the first floor, a mud room, a game room, a card room, a veranda with fireplace and outdoor kitchen, an elevator, 4 fireplaces, a swimming pool with spa, and a 4 car garage. The home was built by Sharif and Munir. The quality of the interior is superb and I love all the finishes. The home theater is to die for, but where are all of the seats?

Here is another look at the late Aaron Spelling’s 56,500 square foot mega-mansion dubbed The Manor. Thanks to reader Daniel for the tip! This video gives you a first ever glimpse of the Prince Charles room and the barber shop. You also get to see the foyer, the media room, one of the 3 gift wrapping rooms, and the china room. All of these videos of The Manor are great and all, but do you think it’s going to help sell the house? I have a feeling she might just take it off the market in a couple of months and keep it for herself, because I HIGHLY doubt she will get anything near $150 million for it.

Hey guys. You remember I told you about Homes of the Rich working with TV Land’s “How’d You Get So Rich” ? Well, I came up with an idea for a new MTV reality show (nothing like the crap that is on there now lol) and I forwarded it to the TV Land Producer. He said it was a great idea and so he forwarded it to one of his friends who works for a production company that produces shows for MTV. I have yet to hear from his friend , so wish me luck.

HERE IS A DESCRIPTION OF THE SHOW:

MTV’s Teen Mogul – The contestants walk out onto the green strip. They present their ideas/inventions in front of the judges. The judges (show in picture) are each holding a buzzer. First impressions are everything, so the judges won’t be able to ask the contestants about their inventions in the 1st round. The judges will either press their green buzzer or red buzzer. The one they press shows up on the screen in front of them. Green means that the judge wants the contestant to go through to the next round. Red means that the judge does not want the contestant to go through to the next round. Contestants need 2 greens to advance. In the next round, the contestants will get more in depth with their inventions and will work one on one with the judges on testing them out and whatnot. Then, the judges will narrow down the finalists to 3. Lastly, America will pick the winner who will receive $100,000 to help further their inventions/ideas and also the help of all 3 judges.

*Also, we will go to different cities around the country (like American Idol does) so that every teen has a chance at showing off their invention/idea.
