I have to say, I love the exterior! Very grand and in your face, which is right up my alley =P. The two turrets on either side and the concrete stairs leading up to the front entrance are a fantastic touch. The mansion was completed in 2010 and is listed at $3,495,000. It is located at 5821 Goldsboro Road in Bethesda, MD and boasts 5 bedrooms and 5.1 bathrooms. The staircase is unique and amazing with its wrought iron railings and domed ceiling with gold leafing. The rest of the interior is just okay. I don’t really like the color choices and some things are a bit tacky. What do you guys think?

i live 5 minutes from this house and pass it on my way into the city all the time. it has been under construction for at least 2 years now and they are making really slow progress on it, im really surprised to see it finally listed. the house is in a PRIME location right on the main road connecting Potomac and upscale Northwest DC.
that price is much lower than i would have expected for the house, but might make sense considering the small lot size. you can’t tell from the pictures, but the house is on a really awkward hill overlooking the main road so the house as a strange curb appeal.
the interior pictures look nice though, I had no idea the interior was so nicely finished, maybe thats why construction took so long.
thanks for the info! yeah, the price is great but I wish it had more land.
The outside is gorgeous and I agree some of the interior is a bit over the top, although it’s a fairly nice looking home.
Nice house.
Nice detail.
Hey Kenny how come you never listed this house that is currently for sale:
http://www.redfin.com/MD/Potomac/9009-Congressional-Ct-20854/home/10887068
It is located in the best part of Potomac
the new house across from that one is one of my favorites in the area. that thing is huge.
I agree, the one across the street from it is awesome but unfortunately it is behind a school … too much security issues in my opinion
i love that golden dome thing in the entryway but, besides that, nothing else really stands out as spectacular.
God, this is one of the most ugly homes I have ever seen. No wonder it took forever to sell. The house next to it is not great looking (it’s big, but…) but I feel sorry for these neighbors everyday… I assume a hairdresser type lives there or something…
