This luxurious home is currently the most expensive listing in Cape May, NJ. It comes with an asking price of $9,495,000, which is far too much in my opinion. While it has awesome views of the harbor, it is not waterfront. To me, the price should be more in the $4-$6 million range. The home is located at 1350 Texas Avenue. I must say though, the exterior is very beautiful and unique and not like those typical cookie cutter large homes down the shore .

This house and its setting remind me of South Carolina for some reason..

This was obviously written by someone from Jersey “down the shore” 😉

privacy? has the real estate agent seen this house? there is a parking lot at the end of the driveway, a marina that looks right into the back yard and the swimming pool can be seen from the road. not to mention that it’s an architectural abortion, an overblown “I bought it at Home Depot” house trying to be elegant. The worst.

It’s more villa than a mansion. The interior is not bad at all, but this doesn’t mean that it’s not overpriced…

Beautiful home, poor location. They are trying to sell this home on the view alone. The only privacy is inside this home, there is none outside anywhere. The only person this home would appeal to is a large yacht owner with the 250′ dock. The home owner next door lost all of the views of the harbor when this was built. Good luck selling at their price.
