Hi, my name is Alan Robinson, and I’m guest blogging today.

This is the newly built mega-home of NBA superstar LeBron James. The pictures don’t show the home finished yet. The address is 4157 Idlebrook Drive, Akron, Ohio. He bought the property and tore down the home that had been there. He started building his dream home, and it was just recently finished. According to articles online, his home is 35,440 square feet, but public records list the home at 30,106. Either way, that is one of the largest ever built in Ohio.

35,000 square foot house in Cleveland and in that area is retarded.
You build something like that in an area where you have a hope that you can sell it one day.
He just pissed away a ton of money.
If that house was 8,000 square feet in that area I bet he still could never sell it.

  • Yeah, if he ever thought of selling it someday, he sure didn’t think that part through well enough. A house that size would fit so much better in a neighborhood like in Alpine, New Jersey, or in the mega-exclusive “Beverly Park” in Los Angeles.

      Exactly.
My thoughts were either Alpine or Saddle River to build something like that.

Lebron will probably never sell this home since it was built in his home town.

They did the Larry King interview with him from here, and although you only saw a little of the exterior you could see that the house was immaculate, too bad it’s located in the hole that is Cleveland around a bunch of 2,000 square foot houses.
