This 33,000 square foot mountain lodge style behemoth has just hit the market for a cool $24,500,000, which makes it one of the most expensive homes currently for sale in the state of Massachusetts. The home is located at 5 Willow Road in Weston, MA and contains 6 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. It was built in 2003, but looks like it has been there for decades. It was designed by architect Jeremiah Eck and contains a total of 33 large scaled rooms. The home has a grand 3-story gallery with balcony, a sunken living room, a sunken dining room, an oversized family room, a music room, 2 home offices, 6 fireplaces, an indoor spa with sauna, a gorgeous in-ground pool with a cabana house (which connects to the home’s lower level), salon/barber shop, pet grooming room, au pair suite, arts & crafts room, a gym, mahogany pub, 864 bottle wine cellar, and an 11 seat state of the art home theater.

77 Beverly Park has just been placed back on the market. The 30,000 square foot speculation mega-mansion was built by real estate developer George Santo Pietro, the ex-husband of Vanna White. It is located in the prestigious gated community of Beverly Park in Los Angeles, CA. The home is listed for $29,500,000, which is a far cry from the mind numbing $50,000,000 price tag it had a couple of months back.  The home has 9 bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, a large wine cellar, and much more.

Look at that foyer!!! That is one of the most beautiful foyers I’ve seen in a Potomac home. This newly built mega mansion was first listed back in late July. Then, for some odd reason, it was taken off the market after a few weeks. The home is located at 10501 Chapel Road in Potomac, MD. It was designed by renowned architect Jon Neufeld and consists of over 25,000 square feet of pure luxurious living space. It is on the market for a cool $15,000,000, which makes it the current most expensive home on the market in Potomac. The home consists of 8 bedrooms, 10 full and 4 half bathrooms, a grand salon with 18 ft. ceilings, 2 dining rooms, 3 kitchens, a home theater, an indoor pool with spa, staff quarters, and much much more.

Hey guys. If you don’t already know, my business partner and I just launched our social network, FameJolt. I would greatly appreciate it if my readers would sign up and join. It would mean so much to me. Here is a little info on the site:

On FameJolt, you can earn FJ Dollars by doing various things such as uploading photos and commenting. Then, you can cash in your FJ Dollars for money, prizes, and other things. Also, FameJolt is a great way to communicate with other people, rate them using our new “Joltmeter”, share links, start groups, and send gifts.  (we will be adding a dislike button soon, something Facebook doesn’t have!)

russia

You think the United States is the only country with over the top, palatial estates? Well, think again. I was blown away by some of these homes that are located in Russia. These palatial homes are filled with the most exotic, imported finishes around. They have indoor pools, marble basements, and gold leaf trim everywhere.

Here are some articles on huge Russian estates  that a Homes of the Rich reader brought to my attention:
